What is Clear Whey Isolate?
Clear Whey Isolate is a type of clear protein shake - this means you get all the protein of a regular shake in a crystal clear package that tastes like a normal soft drink.
By refining traditional whey powders, we've created a lactose-free way of consuming protein without any of the milky flavors or texture.
We've focused on flavors that we like - stronger on the tea, weaker on the sugar, and the highest quality we can afford.
Why is my protein drink foaming?
Foam is caused by the whey protein inside a drink, which traps little air bubbles.
In other words, there’s nothing to worry about - it just shows there’s high-quality protein in your drink!
Tiny air particles get trapped in liquid when we move bottles around. Proteins are made up of amino acid chains, which get partially loosened during processing.
This makes them start to bind to both water and air, which forms a structure that traps air in the water, leading to quite a stable foam on the top of your drink. It’s quite similar to how your egg foams up when you beat it, and is quite common in any protein products.
Where is our whey from?
Our strong belief in the high quality of our protein is due to our use of advanced production technologies and rigorous quality testing systems. We ensure that all raw material sources are reliable and that processing maintains the highest standards, thereby providing top-tier protein products on the market.
Our whey is sourced from dairies across Europe, including countries like Germany, Netherlands, and the UK.
All products are regulated under the relevant national standards, and we use the highest possible quality: making our drinks with infant-grade protein.
Cows are fed to ensure adequate and balanced nutritional intake, being fed grass and roughage. Depending on their nutrition requirements, farmers also give them concentrated feed like rapeseed cakes, sunflower meal, or peas to supplement their diet: this is particularly relevant in the winter, when cows do not go on pasture as grass stops growing and temperatures go down severely.
The cows are given all the water they can drink and treated responsibly, and we will continue to try to do our part in making the world a little more sustainable to live in.
Why is there sediment in my protea?
You may have noticed some sedimentation or transparent flecks in your protein shake. This is a natural reaction between our whey protein particles and tea, and is perfectly fine to drink.
We've noticed that when whey protein undergoes heat treatment, it tends to clump together and form bigger particles that look a bit like film. In addition, proteins react with the tea to form bigger particles which may be visible to the naked eye: this is a well-documented effect found in a lot of scientific research on its effects.
Can I drink protea after the Best Before date?
The "best before" date is all about ensuring you enjoy protea at its peak flavour. It’s not an expiration date—it’s more like a recommendation for when the taste and quality will be at their best.
Protea is still safe to drink after the “best before” date. Our ingredients are shelf-stable, and the sterilisation process ensures no microbes are present. You might notice some slight changes in taste or texture, but it’s still perfectly fine to drink.

How do I initiate a return or refund?
If you’ve got an unopened product you’d like to return, we’d love to have it back!
According to our refund policy, you can request a return within 14 days from receiving your product with no questions asked. We will cover the handling and restocking costs, but you will have to pay for the return shipping to our warehouse.
Upon confirmed receipt of your items, we will issue a refund for your full purchase amount.
Please note that we cannot accept returns for any opened products.

For food safety reasons, we can't accept returns after our 14-day window, or for products that were bought on sale.
