Why We Make Protein

Humans are built to move.

We need activity to feel happy, fulfilled, or just energetic.

When I started living an active lifestyle in Hong Kong, it was a weird balance. I loved the vibrant and delicious food you find everywhere, but consistently clean nutrition was often out of reach - especially for someone who loved food so much.

And so I turned to protein shakes.

Most fitness enthusiasts have protein shakes as part of a daily routine to make up for whatever deficiencies they may have in their diets, or just to boost performance one step further. For something that we consume so often, we've never really questioned whether it can be better.

It can.

Whey protein was an unwanted byproduct of the cheese-making process and its widespread adoption today is a testament to human innovation. And yet, many years after we started processing it, it's somehow still possible to question whether these supplements are good for you.

Instead, let's establish a new baseline for what products should be: high quality, sustainably sourced whey; excellent manufacturing conditions and pristine quality checks; nutritious and naturally beneficial flavorings in every sip. Products should be designed to fit around your lifestyle and not the other way around, and should seamlessly integrate into your needs.

We believe we can find similarly-minded people, who will prioritize quality and experience over mass consumption and cost.

Protein is a supplement, and should be treated as such. We are unapologetic about taking the time and effort to craft the best product, and would encourage our customers to be responsible members of society: buy only what you need, but trust that we will do everything in our power to make the best nutrition you deserve.
